LONDON: Quintain Estates Plc has selected Vindico Retail to provide retail design strategy & tenant design review services to its flagship London retail development.
The London Designer Outlet Centre anchors Quintain’s mixed use regeneration project on the doorstep of the iconic National Stadium. The Wembley scheme is the first outlet scheme to be built within greater London, with its 200,000 square foot fashion offer supported by a destinational leisure mix of six screen cinema and twelve food & beverage outlets.
“The faith placed by Quintain Estates in our retail design capabilities reflects the investment we have made in our retail design team over the last twelve months,” comments Peter Row, Founding Director of Vindico Retail. “Most of our work in the Middle East now integrates tenant coordination & design review, yet the UK is a different market and this appointment supports our unique perspective of the role of design in the wider retail delivery process.”
Linda Mitchell, Vindico Retail Director, will lead the project; “Our success in supporting Quintain and its Tenants through the design process will lay down a marker for Vindico’s design offer in the UK. The London Designer Outlet Centre is scheduled to open in Q4 2013.
