LONDON & DUBAI: A joint venture between Vindico Retail and The Design Solution, leading airport retail planners & designers, has been appointed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (“ADAC”) as one of two Commercial Consultants to Abu Dhabi Airport’s Midfield Terminal project.
The project is a pillar of Abu Dhabi’s 2030 master plan and is one of the world’s most significant airport terminal projects, to open in mid-2017 as home to the rapidly expanding Etihad Airways with a capacity to handle over 40 million passengers a year. The role has brought together the expertise of sector specialists, including a commercial modelling focus from San Francisco based SAP Group.

With a pedigree in shopping centre projects, this appointment strengthens Vindico Retail’s airport credentials by becoming the ninth terminal project on which tenant coordination & design review services have been provided in the UK and UAE aviation markets.
