ABU DHABI: Aldar Properties PJSC has re-appointed Vindico Retail to its Yas Island Mall retail & leisure development in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Originally appointed as Retail Delivery Managers to the project in 2008, the role was re-tendered in line with the project’s revised forecast opening in Q1 2014, with an expanded scope to include Tenant Design Review services.

Yas Mall is Abu Dhabi’s first super-prime regional shopping centre destination, located on Yas Island adjacent the Yas Marina Formula One circuit and Ferrari World theme park. Abu Dhabi’s only Ikea store, trading since 2010 is one of six anchors and 450 speciality and food & beverage outlets that make up the 2.6 million square foot development.
Vindico’s appointment follows a four month competitive tender process managed directly by Aldar.
